If you have not been diving in a while it's a good idea to refresh your skills prior to diving.

We therefore offer options for certified divers who wish to practice some skills prior to diving:

GET WET REFRESHER

Not been diving in a while and want to make sure you get the best out your dive with us, this this quick refresher is completed just prior to our scheduled 9:00 am two tank dive, you come to our shop for 8:20 am on the day of your dive and run through the basics, such as mask clearance, regulator recovery, hand signals , how to read and communicate air consumption and the proper use of equipment. and then you are all set for your 9:00 am scheduled dive.


PADI SCUBA REFRESHER

This refresher conducted at our Scuba Shack in Sandy Ground, allows you to redo all the skills your learnt when you got certified, we go through all the PADI Confined water skills, thus allowing you to build confidence and feel ready for your dive adventure with us,

We do hope once the refresher is complete we hope you now feel confident enough to book either a scheduled two tank dive or a private one or two tank dive to use that confidence to enjoy Anguilla's waters.


Minimum Age - 10

Number of Dives - Nil

Approx. Time -1 hr

Prerequisites - Certified Diver

Not been diving in a while, then this refresher is a great option. It consists of a overview of equipment and skills - like mask clearance, alternate air source use, regulator recovery, reading your pressure gauge, hand signals, BCD inflation and deflation and buoyancy.

PADI ReActivate


Minimum Age - 10

Your PADI certification never expires; but if you haven't been diving in a while, it's better to be over-prepared than risk a problem because you forget something important. For just a knowledge review, complete eLearning. To get comfortable in the water again, also schedule time with dive professional. Dive shops also appreciate seeing a recent ReActivated date on your certification card.Number of Dives - 1

Prerequisites - Certified Open Water Diver

The PADI ReActivate program is perfect if you have not been diving in a while and want a fun way to refresh your skills and ​check your buoyancy!

If you are a PADI certified diver, you can sign up for PADI ReActivate here. You’ll need to have a credit card ready because you’ll pay PADI a fee (this includes the new ReActivated certification card that you’ll receive after your training with Dive Friends). It takes about 45 minutes to an hour and can be completed while online with either a tablet, mobile or laptop computer. If you don’t have time to do this before your vacation, no worries, just lay on your beach chair and complete it on your tablet. ​After the academic portion is complete, just contact us to arrange your in-water skill review.
