COVID Policy

Our staff and client’s comfort and safety are always paramount.

We have designed a COVID-19 Operating Procedures using recommendations and guidelines from Government of Anguilla, Divers Alert Network (DAN) and Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI).

All procedures are in line with Anguilla Government requirements designed to ensure the safety of both of staff and clients, while still providing an unforgettable Anguilla experience.

Scuba Shack's COVID-19 SOPs were developed using recommendations and guidelines from Government of Anguilla, Divers Alert Network (DAN) and Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI).

PRIOR TO ARRIVAL (Please complete prior activity to limit contact)

Booking and Payment –ALL booking and payment can be made online to limit contact.

Online Liability Release –Should be completed by all persons going on the vessel.

Equipment - If needed please complete online the rental equipment sizing form.

Personal Items to bring - Face mask, towel, sunscreen, and any other items you wish.

While at the Scuba Shack (Please always follow staff instructions)

Mandatory use of mask - Face covering MUST always be worn.

Social distancing - Always maintain safe distance protocols.

Hand sanitizer - Is available for use.

DURING ACTIVTY (Please always follow crew instructions)

Rental Equipment – The BCD & regulators are numbered to ensure you use only the equipment assigned to you.

Mouthpieces - Please ensure all mouthpieces remain covered until ready for use.

Defogging – Please use your own or the defogging product available on board

Hand sanitizer - Is available for use.

Social distancing – Whenever possible maintain safe distance protocols.

Disembarking - Please ensure to take all personal items with you.

Rental equipment – We are requesting all rental equipment remain on the vessel.

CLEANING of equipment & vessel:

Rental equipment - will be collected from vessel by staff and washed and sanitized as per CDC recommendations, with a 1000 ppm chlorine solution from household bleach and cold water: 1/3 cup (5 tbsp) bleach to 1 gallon water Immerse (not simply spray on) in this solution for five minutes then rinsed thoroughly with uncontaminated water.

Storage of equipment – It will be air dried, then packed and stored for the next client.

The vessel - Will be cleaned with a 25% bleach solution after each use.
