PADI SCUBA DIVER CERTIFICATION
- Description: This is an entry-level certification that allows you to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI professional to a maximum depth of 40 feet (12 meters). It’s perfect for those who want a quick introduction to scuba diving but don’t have time for the full Open Water Diver course.
- Prior to Arrival: You complete Online theory, via PADI eLearning, this is paid directly to PADI, you sign up using our Store "Scuba Shack " and # 20803 at PADI eLearning
- Duration: As eLearning is completes, it takes less time, usually takes 2 half day sessions to complete, confined water training, and your open water dives.
- Limitations: You’ll always need to dive with a professional guide and won’t be certified to dive independently.
- Ideal For: Those with limited vacation time who want to experience scuba diving without committing to full independent certification.

OPEN WATER REFERRAL
- Description: This option allows you to complete part of your Open Water Diver course at home (theory and pool sessions), then finish the open water dives at your vacation destination. This splits the certification into two parts, making it more flexible for travelers.
- Duration: You can complete the confined water dives and theory at home, and just do the open water dives (usually 2 days) while on vacation.
- Advantages: You’ll save vacation time by completing most of the course before you travel, allowing you to focus on diving during your trip.
- Ideal For: People with busy schedules who want to start their certification at home and finish it while on vacation.

PADI OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION
- Description: This is the most popular scuba certification and allows you to dive independently (with a buddy) to a maximum depth of 60 feet (18 meters). It’s a more comprehensive course, covering skills, theory, and safety techniques needed for confident diving.
- Prior to Arrival: You complete Online theory, via PADI eLearning, this is paid directly to PADI, you sign up using our Store "Scuba Shack " and # 20803 at PADI eLearning
- Duration: As eLearning is completes, it takes less time, usually takes 3 half day sessions to complete, confined water training, and your open water dives.
- Advantages: You’ll be certified to dive without needing a guide, which opens up more freedom and flexibility for future dive vacations.
- Ideal For: People who are committed to diving long-term and want the full certification to dive independently.
